Modell’s Sporting Goods, a trusted destination for athletes and sports fans for over a century, partnered with Mindmesh to reimagine their brand for today’s online shoppers. We built a fully custom Shopify theme that highlighted their expansive product lines — from apparel and equipment to fan gear — while delivering a fast, intuitive, and mobile-optimized user experience. Designed for both performance and visual impact, the theme helped modernize the brand while keeping its roots in community and team spirit intact.

We also developed a custom backend integration app that connected the Shopify platform to Modell’s network of distributors and inventory systems. This enabled real-time updates on stock levels and order status, reducing delays and improving fulfillment accuracy. In parallel, we created a bespoke internal dashboard offering actionable insights into user journeys, sales data, and marketing performance — helping the Modell’s team pivot quickly and optimize their strategy.
To enhance product discovery, we implemented AI-powered search and tailored product recommendations, allowing customers to easily find items based on previous browsing behavior, preferences, and trending products. These intelligent features, combined with a streamlined checkout experience, helped increase conversion rates and customer satisfaction.
